Important Info About Product:
- Not recommended for indoor use.
- Not recommended on tiny dogs (less than 8 lb).
- May not be as effective on very large dogs (over 110 lb).
- To avoid desensitizing your dog, only turn on device during periods of unwanted barking.
- Make sure there aren't any large objects between the device and the dog. The sound doesn't travel well through fences, trees, or walls.
- Each dog reacts a little different to the ultrasonic sound at first. Sometimes it takes time for a dog to understand that the ultrasonic tone occurs when they are barking - which will train them against this behavior. Your dog may need a little more guidance to master this training process. Say commands like “no” or “stop barking” at the same moment the device is triggered. This will help your dog better understand the association between his barking and the irritating noise.
- To preserve battery life, turn off device when you are not using it.
- Place the unit no higher than 5 feet from the ground.
- Face the front of the device towards the dog.
