Beeswax Wraps are an environmentally friendly and healthy alternative to other food storage products. As a natural product, they do a better job at stopping odors and extending the storage life of food than aluminum foil, plastic wrap or plastic containers.
Each set includes 1 small, 1 medium and 1 large wrap, each with its own unique and colorful print designed for easy identification:
- The Small wraps are good for items like sliced vegetables, avocados, half an orange, a handful of nuts or the top of glass.
- The Medium wraps are good for items like half a head of lettuce, covering a bowl, baked goods or saving popcorn.
- The Large wraps are good for items like entire sandwiches, uncut vegetables like kale or celery, mixing bowls and cake pans.
To extend their life never place our Beeswax Wraps in a hot environment like a microwave, stove top, oven or dishwasher.
Beeswax wraps should not be used to wrap meat that is not in a bowl or on a plate.
One of our favorite features of the Beeswax Wraps is how you interact with them.
You use your hands to warm and shape the wrap. As the wrap cools down, it creates a seal that naturally preserves your food. When done, wash in cool water with mild soap and air dry. Store in a cool place and use again and again. Beeswax wraps can be stored in the refrigerator, cabinet, pantry or a drawer.
Our Beeswax Wraps are expected to last up to one year with reasonable use.
When you first get your wraps, they may be very tacky. We ask that you gently work with them and get used to their “personality”.
